The aim of this thesis is to specify the spatial and equipment requirements for the preparation of dishes in the minimum housing. The thesis summarizes the facts about living in a small area, supplemented by examples of buildings. It familiarizes with the reasons and factors, that influence the acquisition of living space. It touches the space reserved for cooking and lists the various zones and their requirements for space and equipment. Part of the thesis is the author's design of the kitchen, where information obtained have been applied.
